Alberto Ruiz Gallardón, Mayor of Madrid, visited last 5 May the work being carried out on the future Eurostars Madrid Tower Hotel 5*,  an establishment belonging to the Hotusa Group which will be the highest in Madrid. Not in vain does it occupy 33 storyeys of the SyVTower, one of the most spectacular buildings in the Cuatro Torres Business Area, the new corporative area built on the grounds of the former Real Madrid sports club, on Madrid’s main thoroughfare, the Castellana Avenue.

Madrid Mayor, during his visit to the building works, highlighted that “a company such as Hotusa with an important national and international repercution doing a mayor project such as this one, proves the total faith into Madrid´s future”.

This five-star establishment will form part of the Eurostars Hotels chain and will open its doors to the public during the last quarter of 2008. The Hotusa Group chairman, Mr. Amancio López Seijas, ensures that, “what with its facilities and service, location and magnitude, we are convinced that the Eurostars Madrid Tower Hotel 5* will become a reference not only for our own chain but also for the Madrid hotel industry in general.

The hotel will have 474 guestrooms, including 25 junior suites measuring some 60 m2, an executive suite of 80 m2 and a presidential suite of over 100 m2 and will be fully equipped with home automation currently being integrated in all intelligent buildings, plus the latest generation audio-visual equipment.

The offer is rounded up with two restaurants, one of which is of original authorship, situated on the top floor of the hotel and which will provide spectacular vistas of the city; a conventions centre equipped with an auditorium and reception rooms totalling a surface area of over 2,500 m2 to cater for events of all kinds; plus a fully appointed urban spa covering some 600 m2.

As in the remainder of the hotels belonging to the chain, art and culture play an outstanding role in the facilities provided by the Eurostars Madrid Tower Hotel 5*, through the presence of exclusive works of art by prestigious artists. Hotel guests will perceive that they are in a hotel of stature, not only for the magnificent views that can be enjoyed from the hotel facilities, but also through photographs of other fantastic skyscrapers from all over the world, such as the Empire State Building, the Sears Tower in Chicago and the Kuala Lumpur Petrona Towers, all of which form part of the décor.
