The Hotusa group makes its entrance into the super de luxe resorts segment.

Barcelona, 3 September 2007.- The Hotusa Group continues its expansion policy in America with the addition, via rental agreement, of the Azul Blue Hotel & Spa*****GL, located on the Mexican Caribbean. This operation signifies the debut of the company, chaired by Amancio López Seijas, in the super de luxe holiday establishments segment. Therefore, this boutique resort comprising only 96 suites will enlarge the Eurostars Hotels portfolio and, for the future, be commercialized under the name of Eurostars Blue Tulum*****GL.
The Eurostars Blue Tulum*****GL is an all-inclusive Gourmet complex, contrary to traditional holiday resorts, not offering buffet restaurants. The establishment is set in the beautiful PetempichBay, on the Mexican Riveria Maya, an area with spectacular beaches, just 15 minutes south of the CancúmInternationalAirport. Moreover, the complex is located beside the spectacular archaeological ruins of Tulum, which are outstanding for being the only Mayan ruins by the sea.
The small size of the Eurostars Blue Tulum*****GL endows it with an intimate atmosphere, making it the perfect scenario for relaxing trips or honeymoons. Its 96 suites, classed in seven different categories, are decorated with a careful selection of materials and textures in tranquilizing tones, including hand-carved doors and marble-lined bathrooms with Jacuzzi. The suites are spread over six villas, each of which has a butler to attend to the needs of all the guests.
The new Eurostars Hotels establishment in Mexico stands out for its ample restaurant selection, comprising three à la carte restaurants which clients can visit at any time; for which reason the hotel is publicized as an “all inclusive gourmet hotel”. The Globe restaurant offers dishes of the finest international cuisine prepared in a spectacular kitchen open to the public. At the View restaurant, placed under a charming palapa reed roof and with privileged vistas, delicious ceviches, pizzas and focaccias can be sampled, as well as the most surprising sea-food preparations. Finally, the Yuzu receives its guests with a sampling of sake while discovering its exotic menu card supplying Japanese, Mandarin, Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Its offer of beverages and refreshments is completed with El Tinto, a Wine & Piano Bar, which offers an important collection of the most important wines from all over the world.
The hotel also has spa facilities that provide an elegant atmosphere and spectacular views over the Caribbean. The facilities include saunas, water treatments, a complete gym and 10 treatment suites including VIP Suites for couples where one can enjoy all the rituals of water jets, massages and all types of body and facial beauty treatments.
