11/06/2008 Santiago Fisas, the Councillor for Culture and Tourism from the Community of Madrid, last Friday visited the work site of the future Eurostars Madrid Tower 5*, the Hotusa Group establishment that will be the highest in Madrid. Not in vain does it occupy 33 storeys of the SyV Tower, one of the spectacular buildings forming the Cuatro Torres Business Area, the new business estate located on the former grounds of the Real Madrid sports club, right on the Castellana avenue.

The five-star hotel will be part of the Eurostars Hotels chain and will open its doors at the end of October 2008. The Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Santiago Fisas, highlighted the fact that, “The Hotel is an important bet for the Hotusa Group, which will help to optimize this part of Madrid”. Fisas added that, “Madrid needs hotels of this category to face the challenge represented by standing as candidate to organize the 2016 Olympic Games”.

Amancio López Seijas, chairman of the Hotusa Group, pointed out that “Madrid is living a historical moment, maybe one of the most brilliant of its recent history and one of which we are proud to form part with this hotel”, adding that, “because of its facilities, amenities, location and magnitude, we are convinced that the Eurostars Madrid Tower 5* will become a reference not only for our chain but also for the entire Madrid hotel trade”.

The Eurostars Madrid Tower 5* will provide 474 guestrooms, including a set of 25 junior suites of 60 m2, an executive suite of 80 m2 and the presidential suite of 100 m2 in size which are specially praiseworthy, all of which will be equipped with private Jacuzzi. All the rooms will also be totally controlled by with home automation devices and equipped with the latest in audio-visual technology, as befits intelligent buildings of its kind.

The offer will be completed with two restaurants, one a signature restaurant, located on the top floor of the hotel and which will provide spectacular views over the city of Madrid; a conventions centre equipped with an auditorium and reception rooms which total a surface area of over 2,500 m2 for the staging of events of all descriptions; plus a fully appointed, spacious urban spa of some 600 square metres.
