Eurostars Hotels opens the Eurostars Ramblas Boqueria, its eighth hotel in Barcelona

29/10/2008 Eurostars Hotels has opened the Eurostars Ramblas Boquería, a 30-roomed boutique hotel which is set in an 19th century building, right on the Barcelona Ramblas. This way, the chain belonging to the Hotusa Group continues to bet on its growth in the Catalonian capital with boutique hotels: small, exclusive, very well sited design establishments.

The chairman of the Hotusa Group, Amancio López Seijas, maintains that: “Our backing of small, boutique hotels responds to the development of a concrete client profile, very urban and active, people who search for exclusive establishments in when travelling, hotels with exquisite decoration, excellent location and maximum comfort”.

This new hotel comes to join the other seven establishments that form part of the hotel division of the Hotusa Group in the city of Barcelona. Amongst them, special mention must be made of the Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel 5*GL, a luxury establishment located in the World Trade Center, the Eurostars Anglí 4*, a design hotel in the quiet area of Bonanova and the recently opened Eurostars BCN Design 5*. The remaining Barcelona hotels belonging to the chain are the Eurostars Cristal Palace 4*, the Eurostars Laietana Palace 4*, the Eurostars Gaudí 4* and the Eurostars Mitre 3*. In addition, on the outskirts are the Eurostars Barberà Parc 4* (Barberà del Vallés) and the Eurostars Parc del Vallés 4* (Cerdanyola del Vallés).

The Group’s hotel division is currently in a full expansion process. In addition to the recent opening of the Eurostars BCN Design 5* in Barcelona, this summer the doors of the Eurostars Das Letras 5* in Lisbon were opened to the public and more are soon to be opened in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) and in Oviedo (Asturias). Lastly, the year’s finishing flourish will be made by the launching of the Eurostars Madrid Tower*****, a hotel with 474 rooms spread over 33 storeys in the SyV Tower, 235 metres in height and which forms part of the Cuatro Torres business park on Madrid’s Castellana Avenue.

The Eurostars Ramblas Boquería is set in a 19th century building, close to the famous market, which has kept its original façade and has been completely renovated inside. The hotel has 30 rooms, a breakfast dining room and a small living room. Its privileged location has allowed all the rooms to enjoy unbeatable views of the Ramblas or the historical Boquería Market. For the interior decoration, the new Eurostars Hotel presents a modern style with minimalist elements and neutral tones.
