Situated opposite the railway station, the city is connected with Madrid-Chamartín station and Valladolid with over a dozen trains daily.

Our establishment is close to the Jardinillos, one of the most beautiful parks in the city and a short distance from the Church of St. Paul, the Cathedral, Palacio de la Diputación, the Church of St. Francis and the Villandrando College, with its impressive, colourful façade, the most representative Modernist building in Palencia. A stroll through the Calle Mayor, the city’s liveliest thoroughfare, makes a night’s stay in Palencia well worthwhile and, precisely on the Calle Mayor is where the first university in Spain was founded in the 12th century, the Studium Generale Palencia, which has since disappeared.
